(BNamericas.com) Brazilian IT company MarkWay reported 11mn reais (US$3.29mn) in gross revenue between July 1, 2003 and June 30, 2004, which represents 11% year-on-year growth, a company source confirmed with BNamericas on Monday (August 9).
"The company plans to grow 20%, in dollar terms during the next fiscal year and will invest 500,000 reais in, among other things, planning IT events with our business partners," MarkWay president Jackson Schemes told BNamericas.
In July, the company launched a program known as "Top Five Accounts", in which each of the ten sales managers choose five principal accounts and build a pro-active business plan for them, according to Schemes.
The company held its annual strategic planning meeting to evaluate the company's goals for next year from July 11-13 and various business partners participated.
MarkWay has partnered with US software supplier Oracle for 10 years and the company signed partnerships with Brazilian IT company Ivirtua and with US software company Tarantella in 2003.
